AUGUST 3 2006: Both Seatran and Raja, the 2 bigger ferry operators on Samui, with the oldest ferris, have recently worked hard to upgrade and modernise the facilities on the large car and bus ferries to Samui. On some ferries now you can get a leg-and-foot massage to while away the time, while on all ferries you have a much better selection of drinks and snacks to have on your way. The toilet facilities have all been cleaned up a lot and large air conditioned lounges fixed up and fitted out just right for your enjoyment. The big car and bus ferry is a great way to get to Samui.
