New International School - Open Gates

New International School on Koh Samui

Open Gates began in September of 2005 as a small international school offering the English National Curriculum for children aged from 2-18. We are located on the lovely island of Koh Samui in the Surat Thani province. Open Gates is situated in the Ban Rak community across the street from the ocean overlooking views to neighboring Koh Phangan.

Our students and teachers come from over 14 different countries, creating the quintessential environment to realize our aim of “Building Global Citizens.” To embrace this goal, the school community focuses on helping the children:

Newsflash

SEPT 27: The big new ferry pier in Nathon is now open. But it does not look like a lot of ferries using it yet. The new pier is larger than the old one and compliments the existing infrastructures. There is plenty of parking provided and a large waiting room with facilities for food and beverage outlets, souvenir shops and ticket booths. At least the local kids are having a time of it fishing and swimming of the huge, new structure.
